Sangareddy: In a joint operation, Sadasivapet police and the Sangareddy Anti Narcotics Bureau seized 574 kg of dry ganja that was being transported from Sadasivapet to Sangareddy on NH-65 in a DCM vehicle on Monday evening. The worth of the seized ganja was put at Rs 2.87 crore.
A Kia car was suspiciously preceding the DCM vehicle when the police tried to stop them. However, the drivers attempted to speed away, but the police chased the vehicles and nabbed three ganja peddlers from Maharashtra. The police seized the two vehicles. A case was registered and the probe is on.
