A sarpanch candidate suffered a heart attack at Jangarai village in Medak district on Friday night, a day before polling. The BRS-supported candidate was shifted to a Hyderabad hospital, where his condition is reported to be critical.

Medak: A sarpanch contestant suffered a heart attack at Jangarai village in Chinna Shankarampet mandal on Friday night.
Sanjeeva Reddy (58), was in the fray supported by the BRS. He was rushed to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad, where his condition is said to be critical.
The election in the village is scheduled to be held on Sunday.
