Scribe dies of Covid-19 in Karimnagar

A native of Penchikalpet mandal centre, Ramesh contracted the deadly virus a fortnight back

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Junagari Ramesh, staff reporter of a vernacular newspaper, died of Covid-19 while undergoing treatment in Mancherial on Wednesday. He was 38. He is survived by wife and two children.

A native of Penchikalpet mandal centre, Ramesh contracted the deadly virus a fortnight back. He was admitted to a private hospital in Kaghaznagar and then was shifted to a hospital of Mancherial as his medical condition got deteriorated. He breathed his last at the time of the treatment around 8 am. His final rites were performed as per protocol of Covid-19 pandemic.


In the meantime, Choppadandi Mohan, 34, a scribe of a Telugu daily from Ramakrishnapur town in Mancherial district succumbed to the disease on May 21, leaving behind wife and two children. He died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
