Second Sudanese patient tests negative for Ebola at Gandhi Hospital
A Sudanese student admitted to Gandhi Hospital’s Ebola isolation ward has tested negative, easing concerns after three suspected cases were reported. Two patients have now tested negative, while results for the third are awaited.

Hyderabad: One more patient from Sudan, who was admitted to the Ebola isolation ward at Gandhi Hospital has tested negative, hospital authorities said.
So far, out of three patients admitted at Gandhi Hospital, two have tested negative, while the Ebola test results of the remaining patient are to be released.
The Sudanese national, who tested negative for Ebola on Saturday, is a student pursuing higher education in a private university in Hyderabad. He was admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Nanakramguda for yellow fever and developed fever, which made doctors refer him to Gandhi Hospital.
The first Sudanese passenger, who had arrived at RGIA on Thursday, had mild fever, which was detected by the thermal scanners installed at the international airport.
According to the hospital doctors, the patient will be discharged at the earliest from Gandhi Hospital. Tests of one more suspected Ebola patient are expected to arrive in a day or two, doctors added.
