Senior Congress leader M. Satyanarayana Rao passes away
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao mourned the death of Satyanarayana Rao.
Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and former PCC president M. Satyanarayana Rao passed away early on Tuesday morning at NIMS here.
Satyanarayana Rao, popularly known as MSR, is survived by wife, two daughters and two sons. He was a native of Vedira village in Ramadugu mandal, Karimnagar district.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao mourned the death of Satyanarayana Rao.
Satyanarayana served as an MP, minister in the united Andhra Pradesh, and chairman of the RTC, and was a supporter of the Telangana cause, Chandrashekhar Rao said.
“Satyanarayana Rao had a special style and was known as a straight man in politics,” the Chief Minister recalled. He extended his deepest condolences to the family members of the bereaved family.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also expressed grief over the death of Satyanarayana Rao and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members.
