Hyderabad: Senior journalist M V Subramanyam passed away at his residence in Malkajgiri following a massive heart attack on Monday. He was 65. He is survived by his daughter.
Subramanyam worked with The Hindu for over 25 years in Hyderabad and Kadapa districts. He was known to be an affable person and was respected for his impartial reporting. He also had a stint with Newstime, an English daily launched by the Eenadu group in the 1980s.
He suffered a stroke and was rushed to a hospital. While undergoing treatment, he suffered another massive stroke and breathed his last, according to family members.
