Shabbir boys clinch trophy in Freedom Cup football tourney

Hyderabad: Shabbir Ali Football Academy (SAFA) A defeated SAFA B 2-1 to bag the inaugural 7×7 Under-17 Freedom Cup football tournament at Stadium of Hope on Monday. Khader and Imran scored for the winners.

Earlier SAFA drew drew with Petra Sports, defeated United FC 2-0 before beting Repeaers 3-1 to qualify to the semifinals where they defeated Ravens FC 3-1. Srikanth David, who is heading Serving Through Sports, gave away the trophy to the winners.
