Shaina secures semi-final berth at Dutch Junior International

Indian badminton player Shaina Manimuthu produced a spirited comeback at the YONEX Dutch Junior International 2026, defeating Thailand’s third-seeded Pimchanok Sutthiviriyakul in a three-game thriller.

Hyderabad: Shaina Manimuthu advanced to the semifinals of the YONEX Dutch Junior International 2026, currently underway in the Netherlands, after a hard fought victory over third seed Pimchanok Sutthiviriyakul of Thailand in a match that lasted nearly an hour.

After going down 15-21 in the opening game, Shaina regained her rhythm and fought back strongly to take the next two games 21-16, 21-18, sealing the win in 57 minutes and securing her place in the last four.
