SHE teams nab 996 persons harassing women during Ganesh festivities in Hyderabad
In some cases where the video evidence could not be captured, such individuals were counselled in the presence of their family members

Hyderabad: As many as 996 persons were caught harassing women during the recent Ganesh festivities at the Khairatabad Bada Ganesh pandal and other crowded spots in the city.
SHE Team officials said the suspects were caught when engaging in indecent behavior towards women in public places.
Cases were booked and they were prosecuted. In some cases where the video evidence could not be captured, such individuals were counselled in the presence of their family members.
