Shepherd injured in sloth bear attack in Ramayampet mandal
A shepherd was seriously injured after a sloth bear attacked him on the outskirts of Danthepally village in Medak district while grazing goats. The victim was shifted to a government hospital, and forest officials assured financial assistance

Medak: A shepherd suffered serious injuries after being attacked by a sloth bear on the outskirts of Danthepally village in Ramayampet mandal on Monday.
The victim, Keerthi Siddaiah (48), was grazing his goats on the outskirts of the village when the bear reportedly pounced on him from nearby bushes, leaving him with no time to defend himself.
Siddaiah sustained serious injuries in the attack and was rushed to the government hospital in Ramayampet for treatment.
Forest officials visited him at the hospital and assured him that financial assistance would be extended in accordance with guidelines.
