Siddipet Collector suspends Gajwel Tehsildar after video shows him mocking farmer
Siddipet Collector K Hymavathi suspended Gajwel Tehsildar Chittempally Swamy after a video allegedly showing him mocking a farmer went viral. The official was heard asking the farmer why he had not consumed pesticide, triggering widespread criticism and prompting an investigation.

Siddipet: Siddipet Collector K Hymavathi suspended Gajwel Tehsildar Chittempally Swamy after a video in which he was seen mocking a farmer who approached him with a complaint in his hand. As the video went viral on social media, the Collector issued orders immediately suspending him from duties.
The Collector also further asked him not to leave Gajwel until the further investigation was completed. The Tehsildar was seen saying to the farmer that whether he had not consumed pesticide yet. “Haven’t you drunk pesticide? Are you still alive? While the offier was seen laughing at the farmer, the helpless farmer questioned whether he was laughing at his suffering.
The officer said ‘yes’. The utterances of Gajwel Tehsidlar drew widespread criticism and condemenation which forced the Collector to initiate a stern action against him immediately.
