Siddipet: Harish, Kotha Prabhakar come to rescue of orphaned children
Comforting the children to assure all help, MP Medak Kotha Prabhakar Reddy has presented Rs one lakh cash and assured to build them a 2-BHK house shortly.
Siddipet: Finance Minister T Harish Rao and MP Medak Kotha Prabhakar Reddy came to the rescue of two children who were orphaned following the death of their parents at Deepaipally village in Doultabad Mandal.
Owning no pucca house, the two minor children were living in a tarpaulin covered shed at their village. Moved by the plight of these two children, the villagers tweeted a photograph of the children and their house tagging Finance Minister T Harish Rao and IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday.
Harish Rao, who spoke to MP Prabhakar Reddy, asked him to visit the children immediately. Comforting the children to assure all help, Reddy has presented Rs one lakh cash and assured to build them a 2-BHK house shortly.

The two-children Sameera (14) and Sandeep (12) were orphaned following the death of their parents Golla Ramulu and Anasuya in a 10 years gap. Ramulu died of a heart attack some 10 years ago. Anasuya used to take care of the children by working as labourer until six months back when she died of Covid-19, leaving her two minor children orphaned.
The children have been living with the support of villagers and some relatives since then. Some responsive villagers have made a tweet of the children and their home tagging Harish Rao and Rama Rao on Saturday night. They have got quick responses from Harish Rao, who suggested the MP visit them personally. Sameera and Sandeep thanked the children. The villagers have also thanked the Minister and MP for their quick response.
