Sircilla Collector inspects Maha Shivaratri jatara arrangements in Vemulawada

Rajanna-Sircilla: District Collector Anurag Jayanthi on Wednesday said all arrangements are being made for Maha Shivaratri jatara scheduled to be held in Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple, Vemulwada, from February 28 to March 2.
The Collector along with Superintendent of Police Rahul Hegde visited the shrine and inspected the arrangements being made for jatara. He inspected the arrangements at Thippapur bus stand, Mulavagu area, bypass road, traffic junctions, parking place at temple tank, Shivarchana programme site, temporary bathing showers, toilets, queue lines, and others. Enquiring about the arrangement by interacting with officials, the Collector gave some advice.
Speaking on the occasion, Anurag Jayanthi informed that all arrangements were being made for the convenience of devotees. He instructed R&B department officials to complete ongoing bypass road works by Friday.
Directing the officials to provide all facilities to pilgrims at the bus stand, he asked Municipal Commissioner Shyamsunder Rao to pay special attention to sanitation in the town.
He instructed officials to ensure water supply to temporary bathing showers and toilets being arranged for the convenience of devotees. He wanted the officials to arrange drinking water.
Rahu Hegde informed that they are going to arrange route maps to avoid traffic troubles in the town. Besides stoppers, stickers have also been arranged to avoid road accidents during the night.
DSP Chandrakanth, R&B EE Kishan Ro, Municipal Commissioner Shyamsunder Rao and temple officials were present.
