Festivals bring us together, break the monotony and give us a chance to rejuvenate our mind and spirit. Ganesh Chaturthi is a festival of great significance, especially to the students, as Ganesha is the lord of knowledge.
The special children of Gitanjali Devshala virtually celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm and devotion. The children learnt to make Haridhra (saffron) Ganesha under the guidance of their class teacher, as part of classroom activity – Eco-friendly Ganesha. The children enjoyed the making of the Ganesh idol and took immense pride on their creation. Dressed in colourful traditional outfits, the children looked beautiful offering prayers to the handmade idol of Ganesha with great devotion, chanting ‘Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha’.
