Nirmal: The Sri Ramanavami Shobhayatra went off peacefully in the communally sensitive Bhainsa town.
The procession began at Goshala and ended at Ramlila maidan, winding through streets and junctions of the town. Devotees from all walks of life and members of Bajrang Dal, Hindu Utsav Samithi and other religious organisations took part in the event. A voluntary organisation provided food to the participants. Local MLA Rama Rao Patel inaugurated the procession.
Around 300 policemen including 20 sub-inspectors and five inspectors were deployed in several parts of the town to prevent untoward incidents.
