Stray dogs attack MLC election counting staff in Telangana’s Karimnagar

Election authorities had made arrangements for the counting process in the Ambedkar Indoor stadium. However, a few of the polling staff were attacked and bitten by dogs

KARIMNAGAR: Counting staff engaged in the counting of votes for the MLC election were attacked by stray dogs in the Ambedkar Indoor stadium in Karimnagar on Monday.

Election authorities had made arrangements for the counting process in the Ambedkar Indoor stadium. However, a few of the polling staff were attacked and bitten by dogs. Alerted officials deployed dog catchers to detain dogs.


Dog catchers detained a few dogs after the incident.
