Students of Delhi Public School celebrate virtual ‘Graduation Day’
The programme commenced with a heart-warming speech by the head girl of Prep Hanshitha, followed by lighting of the lamp, welcome dance.

The pre-pimary wing of Delhi Public School, Nacharam celebrated its virtual “Cultural cum Graduation Day” on March 9. Ankita Rath, a journalist and Jaya Baheti, a renowned city based painter graced the event as chief guests.
The programme commenced with a heart-warming speech by the head girl of Prep Hanshitha, followed by lighting of the lamp, welcome dance.
The pre-primary headmistress Shukla Dasgupta spoke about the significant achievements of the school in the year that had gone by. Senior headmistress I Sudha, principal Sunitha Rao’s spoke at the event and motivated children.
Students then virtually travelled and watched the different wonders of the world along with the graduates of Prep C and Prep D and frolicked with the traditional games of India along with the students of Prep I and Prep L. Children not only learnt how to nurture nature with the little graduates of Prep J and Prep K but also looked towards the future of technology in the classroom along with the students of Prep E and Prep F.
The welcome and the thank you song by the prep choir group was appreciated by all. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for the little ones as they graduated from preschool to class 1. The young enthusiastic learners were applauded for their commendable performance in the academic year. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by prep teacher Sharmila.
