Suryapet: The District Collector issued orders on Monday surrendering Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zilla Parishad N Prem Charan to the office of Commissioner of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development for making adverse comments against the State government.

The comments by Prem Charan against the State government at a Teachers’ Day celebrations in a private school in Suryapet on reopening of educational institutions attracted disciplinary action against him. He made adverse remarks stating that the State government was working on the directions of corporate educational institutions on reopening schools in these pandemic times.
