Table Tennis Championship: Kesavan, Bhaavitha in Super League

Hyderabad: Top seeds Kesavan Kannan from SG-MLR and N Bhaavitha from GSM entered the Super League stage in the under-19 boys and girls categories respectively in the Late Sri Loknath Samal 8th Telangana Stage Inter-district and State Table Tennis Championship conducted at the Somnath Ghosh MLR-UTT Academy in city on Friday.

Raghuram, who hails from Nalgonda, is the lone player from districts to make it to the last-eight stage.

Qualified players for Super League

U-19 Boys: Kesavan Kannan (SG-MLR), Trishul Mehra (LBS), Anoop Amara (AWA), Jatin Dev (SPHS), Sai Kiran (AWA), Raghuram (Nalgonda), Dhanush (AWA), K Ishanth (AWA).

U-19 Girls: N Bhaavitha (GSM), P Mercy (HVS), Devishree (SG-MLR), J Gouri (SG-MLR), HS Nikhita (VPG), Kavya (AWA), HS Nandini (VPG) and K Pooja (AWA).
