A short circuit from an air-conditioner is suspected to have led to the fire.

"We expect around 15-20 percent growth (in value terms) in the AC market this year in comparison to 2019, "Godrej Appliances Business Head Kamal Nandi said.

"This investment is to reduce the imports from overseas," Blue Star managing director B Thiagarajan said.
