Sanjay Kumar also demanded that the State government procure paddy on a war footing since farmers were facing troubles at the paddy procurement centres due to delays and rains.
In a meeting with Union Minister Khattar in New Delhi, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy highlighted Hyderabad's outdated sewerage system and the lack of proper systems in neighboring municipalities.

The Minister said after Cong govt came to power, it was observed that these tenders were 3.99 per cent excess, following which CM Revanth Reddy issued directions to officials to cancel the tenders and float fresh tenders with 2022-23 SSR rates.
