At a Congress meeting in Jagtial, MLC Balmuri Venkat indirectly criticised senior leader T. Jeevan Reddy, urging him to align with party directions. Venkat emphasised that party decisions were binding on all leaders, regardless of seniority, and warned that workers would not remain silent if leaders opposed the party’s interests.
On Tuesday there were reports that the party high command had finalised the names of Addanki Dayakar and NSUI State president Balmuri Venkat Narsing Rao as MLC candidates.
The Telangana High Court on Friday said that it could not intervene to transfer the investigation at this point while expressing its general contentment on the progress of investigation by the SIT.
