BRS Legislative Party deputy leader T Harish Rao criticised Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for using abusive language to divert attention from governance failures. He accused the Congress government of weakening welfare schemes and questioned the outcomes of the Chief Minister’s foreign visits.

BRS working president KT Rama Rao and BRSLP deputy leader T Harish Rao paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary, recalling his ideals of truth, non-violence and compassion, and urging people to follow his timeless teachings.

BRS has postponed a major party meeting due to the ongoing Parliament winter session. Party sources said the rescheduling ensures key MPs can participate in both parliamentary proceedings and the meeting. A new date will be announced shortly.

The meeting gains significance as the Assembly session is scheduled to commence from December 9.

Sources said all the BRS MLAs were asked to arrive at Telangana Bhavan by 8.30 am, followed by the commencement of the BRSLP meeting at 9 am.

The Speaker has issued orders to treat the TRS Legislative Party as the BRS Legislative Party in the State Legislature henceforth.
