Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills Police recovered 67 lost or stolen mobile phones using the CEIR portal and returned them to their owners. Citizens are urged to report lost devices through CEIR to prevent misuse and ensure faster recovery.
The RPF Cyber Cell of South Central Railway recovered 25 mobile phones in June 2025, acting on 140 complaints received via Rail Madad. By leveraging CEIR technology, they blocked 123 devices and traced 41, with 14 already returned to owners.
So far this year, the Rachakonda police recovered 3,213 mobile phones using CEIR portal and stands second after Hyderabad Police Commissionerate in mobile phone recovery
