A group of NALSAR University of Law students has opposed the proposal to invite Chief Justice of India Surya Kant as chief guest for their upcoming convocation. BRS Working President KT Rama Rao has decided not to celebrate his 50th birthday, citing the crackdown on students in New Delhi and drought-like conditions in Telangana. He urged supporters to spend money on service activities instead of birthday celebrations.

KT Rama Rao will join the demonstrations in Hyderabad, while student groups demand Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation and abolition of the National Testing Agency.
