Chandrashekhar Rao accused the BJP leaders for claiming credit for the State government schemes while the Centre continues to impose restrictions on the State's efforts.
The Chief Minister, in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said the State had suffered losses to the tune of Rs 5,000 crore in the heavy rains and subsequent flash floods across the State.
"The Forest Research Institute released a report recently revealing that the green cover in the State increased by 6-7 per cent which can be attributed to various measures by the State government."
In his opening remarks, MA&UD, Minister said that there is a need to invest and strengthen medical infrastructure in the State, especially during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
BJP State president alleged that CM, K Chandrashekhar Rao, after deliberately allowing pertinent damage to the interests of Telangana State, was now trying to shift the blame on to the Centre
