Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced the revival of the Chief Minister’s Breakfast Scheme from the next academic year, aiming to tackle classroom hunger. Speaking at an educational event in Chennai, he also declared a Rs. 2,000 monthly scholarship for ITI students and revealed a partnership with Tata Technologies to upgrade 65 institutes.

Speaking after launching the scheme at the Government Primary and High School in Velpur mandal headquarters in Balkonda constituency on Friday, the Minister said the scheme was the brainchild of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to provide quality nutritious food to school children.
After greeting students, Rama Rao had his breakfast with them in the dining hall. The inaugural breakfast menu included Idli with sambar, puri and alu kurma, upma and chutney, and kesari sweet.
