The Collector, who was the chief guest at a voter awareness program held at AVV College encouraged the youth to actively engage in the voting process and inspire others to cast their ballots.
He asked the election expenditure scrutiny teams to be alert and accurately record the expenses incurred by the candidates from the time of nomination till the end of the election process.
District Collector P Pravinya said a 5K run events would be organised to promote voter awareness in the district at different places in the district from 6 am on Saturday.
