The Collector said that a report on the protests by farmers belonging to Dilawarpur, Gundampalli and surrounding villages against the establishment of the factory and their apprehensions was submitted to the CM office
Members of the committee, locals and women blocked the traffic, causing inconvenience to motorists for around three hours. They raised slogans against the government for allowing the management to set up the plant in their village.
Sanjay (19) and Prashanth (18) were killed, while another person sustained injuries when a car mowed down a motorbike in which they were travelling at Lolam village in Dilawarpur mandal on Friday evening.
