A six-lane elevated corridor proposed at LB Nagar under the H-CITI project is expected to ease congestion and provide signal-free travel for nearly one lakh commuters. The Rs 416 crore project will improve connectivity between LB Nagar, the Old City, Meerpet, and Badangpet.
Traffic restrictions are likely to be imposed on Uppal main road as authorities prepare for construction of the long-delayed Uppal–Narapally elevated corridor. Traffic police are finalising diversion plans, with the project expected to ease congestion and be completed by Dasara 2026.
