Sisodia, the former deputy chief minister of Delhi, was produced before Special Judge Kaveri Baweja of Rouse Avenue Court on the expiry of his previously extended judicial custody.
He appeared before Special Judge Kaweri Baweja of the Rouse Avenue Court as his Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody expired, linked to the alleged excise policy scam money laundering case.
ED sources said Gahlot has been asked to appear for questioning in the case and get his statement recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The agency may arrest him or take him to its office in central Delhi for questioning, sources said, even though there was no official word on the agency's likely course of action.
