The Secunderabad Cantonment Board has approved Rs 20 crore for long-pending road repairs after nearly a decade. Around 22 heavily damaged roads across eight wards will be resurfaced and repaired, providing relief to commuters and residents facing deteriorating infrastructure.
While the government granted Rs 70 lakh recently, another Rs 1 crore will be transferred from the funds of a super speciality hospital being built adjacent to the area hospital
The SWTs will be constructed with an investment of Rs 1,100 crore, involving private players. The Centre will contribute 25 percent of the project cost, while the State and contractor will cover 35 percent and 40 percent, respectively.
Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy said infrastructure would be developed in government educational institutions on par with the corporate institutions with Rs 2,000 crore this year
