Despite Telangana’s record GST collections, government employees and pensioners allege delays in pensions, DAs, and GPF processing under the Congress government. The Telangana government on Monday released another Rs.2,000 crore towards pending employee dues, taking the total amount released to Rs.4,000 crore. The funds have been used to clear GPF dues, commutation payments and pending bills of retired employees.
The Telangana government has released Rs 1,000 crore to clear pending dues of retired employees and increased the monthly allocation to Rs 1,000 crore. Pending GPF arrears up to October 2025 have been cleared, with directions to process medical bills quickly.
