She removed herself from the team final on July 27 after a shaky performance on vault during the first rotation.

USA Gymnastics tweeted early on Sunday that, "Simone has withdrawn from the event final for floor and will make a decision on beam later this week. Either way, we're all behind you, Simone."

"The outpouring love and support I've received has made me realise I'm more than my accomplishments and gymnastics, which I never truly believed before [emoticon: white heart]," said Simone in a tweet posted on Thursday.
