When the video of Heerya Nayak went viral, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy ordered an inquiry into the incident

He said the government's action reveals a systematic effort to suppress dissent, violate human rights, and deny justice to marginalised communities.

Rupla Naik along with relatives visited the Sangareddy Hospital after coming to know that Heerya Naik was rushed to the hospital following chest pain. He demanded the Chief Minister to release the farmers from jail immediately.

The Chief Minister sought information from officials over Naik's health and expressed displeasure over the action of the officials.
