The debate over remerging Husnabad Assembly constituency with Karimnagar district has resurfaced after Revenue Minister Pongulati Srinivas Reddy announced that the State government would reorganise districts scientifically. Husnabad, originally part of Karimnagar, was merged with Siddipet during the 2016 district reorganisation.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced comprehensive relief measures for flood-affected families, including Rs 5 lakh ex gratia for the deceased, Rs 15,000 for submerged households, and Indiramma housing for the worst-hit.
