"jasprit-bumrah"

Jasprit Bumrah bowled a jaffa to rattle the stumps of the first match's hero Ollie Pope who got dismissed for 23 runs in the 28th over of England's first innings of the second test match being played in Visakhapatnam.

England, at tea, stands at 155/4 in 33 overs, trailing India by 241 runs. The session kicked off with Zak Crawley, celebrating his birthday, receiving a reprieve at 18, as Shubman Gill couldn't grasp a chance at short mid-wicket.

At lunch, England stands at 32/0 in six overs, trailing India by 364 runs. Duckett secured his first boundary, an inside edge against Mukesh Kumar, after facing off Jasprit Bumrah's opening over.

After dominating England for the majority of four days, India found themselves on the losing side with a 28-run defeat.

But he was visibly happy after having one of his best days in his 23 Test career.

In the 31st over, Bumrah struck again to dismiss Petersen (2 runs from 7 balls). Dean Elgar and De Zorzi troubled the Indian bowling attack and Bumrah's breakthrough came at a crucial moment in the second session to break the 93-run partnership.

Elgar made batting look easy on a spongy South Africa pitch after the early dismissal of Aiden Markram (5).

In terms of current players, Mohammed Shami scalped the most number of wickets for India against New Zealand in the 50-over format

When prompted to pick between facing Bumrah and Shami in the nets, KL remarked, "Both pose a lethal challenge."

India plays England today in Lucknow in the ICC World Cup 2023. Jasprit Bumrah gives the best opening by picking early wickets for India to defend a low target of 230.

The emphatic win would not have been possible without the special effort of skipper Rohit (87 off 101 balls), whose sublime knock stood out as most Indian batters fell by the wayside on a two-paced pitch

India fielding coach T Dilip gave the best fielding award of the game to the wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul.

While speaking to ICC, Bumrah talked about the atmosphere at Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday and said that the team expected the atmosphere to be big but it was as big as it gets.

Both teams have made a strong start to the tournament, winning their previous two matches, which would make for an even more exciting contest come Saturday

Bumrah's Debut 50-Over International Match in Front of Home Crowd

Jasprit Bumrah will not be available for the second ODI against Australia at the Holkar Cricket Stadium on Sunday

India would have mixed feelings about its sloppy fielding efforts while Australia will be pondering over a below-par batting performance where none of its batters made it big, with David Warner being the lone half-centurion in the innings.

Bumrah spearheaded India's bowling in Asia Cup 2023, playing a pivotal role in their historic eighth title win in Sri Lanka.

When you see him on the field, you know he gives his 100 per cent. We have seen this as a motivation for us as well. That works in his favour which puts him ahead of shami. He always goes for the wicket
