"judicial-custody"

On Monday, police filed a custody petition in the court seeking the custody of the three accused Kunta Srinivas, S Chiranjeevi and Akkapaka Kumar for further investigation

Disha, whose five-day police custody ended on Friday, was produced before Patiala House Court by the Special cell of Delhi Police

The suspect, Deepak Bahadur (30), from Indiramma Colony at Mallapur in Uppal, worked as a construction worker during the day and stole parked motorcycles in the night

“Considering the period of incarceration of accused and in the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, the bail application is allowed,” it said in its similar order passed on January 19 in both the matters.

According to the police, the prime suspect, Mohammed Nazim, along with his associates, picked up an argument with Ali over a purchase and ended up assaulting Ali at Tulasi Nagar on Friday.

The arrested were Azam Khan (24) and Mohd Shafi (23), both residents of Rajendranagar.

In their bail pleas, Singh and Limbachiya sought to be released saying they do not have any criminal antecedents and hence there is no question of them absconding.

Sub-Inspector, Puneet Grewal, who was arrested on Saturday, has been sent to judicial custody.

An extra-marital affair had led to the murder and the suspects escaped to Maharashtra after committing the offence

The arrested persons were Rajdeep Javeri (27) and Anil Karkala Upadhyaya (53)
