A two-wheeler rider died after his bike hit the median on the Kacheguda–Amberpet flyover, throwing him off the structure. Police are verifying vehicle details to identify him and reviewing CCTV footage to determine whether speeding or loss of control caused the crash.
An abandoned car near the Road Under Bridge in Hyderabad’s Kacheguda area caused panic among locals on Thursday. The vehicle, left with its headlamps on and driver missing, prompted fears of foul play. Police, assisted by the Dog Squad and Bomb Disposal Team, conducted thorough checks but found no explosives.
About a year ago, the 18-year-old woman from Kacheguda became friends with the suspect Sai Kiran alias Nani (20), a daily wage worker from Shivrampalli through a social networking platform. Since then, both continued their friendship.
The suspect, Akhil (30) from Satya Nagar in Kacheguda, who works at a private company, befriended a 29-year-old woman from Golnaka working for a pharma company a year ago.
