Toddler dies as AC fire engulfs Kacheguda house
A two-year-old boy died after an air conditioner caught fire at a residence in Sundar Nagar, Hyderabad. The blaze filled the room with flames and smoke, leaving the child critically injured. He was rushed to a nearby private hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a two-year-old boy lost his life when a fire broke out in an air conditioner at a house in Kacheguda on Friday. The incident occurred at around 5pm at a residence in Sundar Nagar.
According to preliminary information, the air conditioner suddenly caught fire, filling the room with flames and thick smoke. The child, who was inside the room at the time, suffered severe burns and lost consciousness.
The family members rushed him to a nearby private hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The Kacheguda police have been informed of the incident and have registered a case. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.
