A 12-year-old Hyderabad Kuchipudi dancer performed along the entire 3-km Giri Pradakshana route at Yadadri temple on Swati Nakshatram. The unique performance blended art and devotion, drawing the attention of devotees participating in the sacred ritual.
Kuchipudi dancer Sheetal Rapole made a successful debut at Ravindra Bharati, earning praise from academicians and dance experts. A disciple of Guru Rohini Kandala, she impressed audiences with a poised and mature performance despite it being her first major recital.
The Kuchipudi performances began with the Vinayaka Stuti, followed by the Sandhya Tandavam and Mandodari Sapatham, all of which were well-received. Srinika Reddy’s rendition of ‘Alamelu Manga Daruvu’ stood out, while Chittoju delighted the audience with Pravallika Parvathi's ‘Daruvu’. Additionally, Chintareddy Madhumita captivated with a rare Kuchipudi folk ensemble performance.
The National President of JCI India, Rakesh Sharma presented the award during JCI Great Day celebrations in the presence of the office bearers here in the city.
The inaugural was attended by Director of Telangana State Department of Language and Culture Mamidi Harikrishna, Kuchipudi Dance Guru Dr. Sudhakar, PhD Guide Professor MS Sivaraju Garla (HCU).
