Speaking at a campaign event in the Mantralayam Assembly constituency of Kurnool district, he praised the Super 6 schemes, contrasting them with Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's 'Navarathanalu' schemes, which he labeled as "Nava Mosalu" (Nine deceptions).
The arrested were identified as E Benjamin (30), P Mallikarjun (25), U Israel (35), all construction workers and residents of Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh
Banni festival is held in Devaragattu and surrounding villages in Kurnool district and as part of this festival, people fight with sticks to get hold of ceremonial idols of local deities.
