Malayalam superstar Mohanlal on Tuesday introduced Jathin Ramdas as the character played by actor Tovino Thomas in director Prithviraj’s eagerly awaited political action drama L2: Empuraan (L2E).

Taking to his X timeline, Mohanlal wrote, “Character No 06 Andrea Tivadar as Michele Menuhin in #L2E #EMPURAAN.” He also shared a link to a YouTube video in which Andrea Tivadar spoke about her character in the film.

Mohanlal-starrer L2: Empuraan (L2E) is directed by actor Prithviraj and produced jointly by Antony Perumbavoor and Subaskaran.

Taking to his X timeline, Mohanlal wrote, “Character No.20 Saniya Iyappan as Jhanvi in #L2E #EMPURAAN.” He also shared a link to a youtube video in which Saniya spoke about her character in the film.

The film, a classic, was directed by eminent director Fazil, who happens to be the father of actor Fahadh Faasil.

Kannappa is a Telugu-language mythological drama set for a worldwide release on April 25.

Currently, the film is planned for release only in Malayalam, but with Unni’s growing popularity, it remains to be seen if it will be dubbed into other languages.

He asserted that “L2: Empuraan” will be a standalone film for people who have not seen “Lucifer”.

Details about Malavika's role remain under wraps, but based on her track record of choosing impactful and diverse characters, it can be safely assumed that this will be another standout performance

Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the teaser keeps it minimal yet impactful, offering a stylish glimpse into the film.

Actor Prithviraj, who is the director of the film, too tweeted the first look poster with the same lines. Interestingly, Tovino plays the character Jathin in the film, the first part of which went on to emerge a blockbuster.

Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu in the lead role, will be released in six languages: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and English.

The actress had accused several male actors, including CPI(M) MLA M Mukesh, of sexual abuse, a few years ago.

With two different genres, Marco and Barroz are set to be a perfect treat for the Malayalam film industry.
