Several parts of Hyderabad will face a 36-hour drinking water supply disruption from January 10 to 11 due to maintenance works on pumping mains and reservoirs, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board announced on Thursday.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board announced an 18-hour water supply shutdown from 10 am on January 3 to 4 am on January 4. Several areas, including Madhapur, KPHB, and Miyapur, will experience low or no water pressure.

HMWSSB said there will be no water supply in Shaikpet, Jubilee Hills, Filmnagar, Prashasan Nagar, Thattikhana, Gachibowli, Madhapur, Ayyappa Society and Kavuri Hills for 24 hours from 10 pm on June 25

According to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), a new storm water drain is being built in Miyapur and water pipelines are being replaced

The areas affected include Mansoorabad, Nagole, R.K.Puram, Chaitanyapuri, Maruthinagar, Kothapet, Chilkanagar, Uppal areas and Peerzadiguda Municipal Corporation

The HMWSSB requested the consumers to use water conservatively to avoid inconvenience during the shutdown of the water supply
