The Railway Protection Force of South Central Railway rescued 512 children found in vulnerable situations between January and May under Operation Nanhe Farishte. The children were handed over to welfare authorities as part of ongoing efforts to protect and rehabilitate minors.
The Secunderabad Railway Protection Force rescued 120 children under Operation Nanhe Farishte in April while intensifying anti-crime operations. Officials also recovered stolen property, seized ganja worth Rs 86.17 lakh, arrested traffickers and ticket touts, and returned lost belongings to passengers.
Two children, one from Rajasthan and another from Jharkhand, who ran away from their homes following arguments with parents, were rescued by the Railway Protection Force Secunderabad under Operation Nanhe Farishte.
Under ‘Operation Yatri Suraksha’, the RPF arrested 38 offenders and recovered stolen property worth Rs.20.63 lakh with registration of 45 cases against them during the month.
