Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s decision to forego the privilege of ‘zero traffic protocol’ is apparently confined to paper as officials continue to impose traffic restrictions for his convoy even on the Outer Ring Road (ORR).

The State government issued an ordinance expanding the urban area upto Outer Ring Road (ORR) and beyond by merging 51 Gram Panchayats with nearby municipalities.

Already, 72 teams have been formed under HYDRAA. To strengthen these teams with required powers and staff would be allocated from police, survey and irrigation departments.
