The objective of the scheme is to provide affordable working capital loan up to Rs 10,000 to street vendors to resume their livelihoods that have been adversely affected due to Covid-19 pandemic
Union Housing and Urban Affairs secretary Durga Shankar Mishra informed the PM that about 5.88 lakh street vendors were identified in TS with about 4.29 loan applications uploaded for consideration under PMSVANidhi
