Krishnaveni was paying Rs 1.5 lakh for a girl and Rs 2.5 lakh for a boy to Vandana and through Deepthi and Savithri shifted the babies to the city. They were later selling the infants at higher price to people in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
The arrested persons were identified as Vikas Tyagi (29), a plumber, Abrar (30), a cab driver, and Mohd.Amiruddin (32), a tiles worker, all friends and residents of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.
The arrested persons are T.Pankaj Bhai (27), a drug peddler from Amberpet and a native of Gujarat, and Prajapathi Mukesh Laxman Bhai (19), a mobile shop worker from Rajasthan.
