The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) detains former Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) Sidam Dattu, Asifabad Deputy Tahsildar Mesram Nagorao, along with two other realtors on charges of irregularities in sanctioning compensation to lands acquired to develop the National Highway 363 on Saturday.

On behalf of the revenue department, RDO was asked to collect the details of persons who constructed buildings in government lands.

This comes after the recent decision by the Telangana government to revise land market values to enhance revenue.

Both the officials had demanded bribe amount of Rs 20,000 from one Raja Venkata Sravan Kumar Reddy, a software engineer, and resident of Jookal village
