In order to extend support to farmers by providing technical support, 2,061 Rythu Vedikas have been constructed across the State by spending Rs 600 crore, he added.
The Minister made this announcement while inaugurating Rythu Vedhikas in Madipalli and Thanugula of Jammikunta mandal on Saturday.
"For the first time ever in the country, Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima were introduced in the state. These two schemes were implemented to protect the agriculture sector and the farmers' interests," he said.
